China's rapid economic development led to a booming
market for oil, gas and water pipelines.
Distribution and long-distance pipelines nowadays traverse the Chinese urban
centres in a similar density as in Europe. Technological and managerial
requirements are increasing constantly. In order to sustain a secure and
reliable operation of these systems in the long run, new developments are
needed.
Together with EITEP INTERPIPE opens it doors for the first time to a broader
international input. The INTERPIPE is officially supported by several relevant
ministries in China and the PetroChina. The list of advisory committee members,
compiled by EITEP, therefore comprises a who's who of the Chinese oil, gas and
